Chart notes
DARK OAK sprinted up to make the lead five wide just past the half mile pole, set the balance of the pace and widened through the stretch to win as much the best while being ridden out. LAUDA SPEED chased the pace, dug in late in the four path late and gamely gained second. FAHRENHEIT set the early pace under pressure, remained a sharp threat along the inside into the stretch then was outfinished. PAT DADDY moved up three wide on the turn then failed to sustain that bid. ASTRO JAK bore in bumping HAPPULEA at the start, had speed for a half then faded. HAPPILEA was bumped at the start and trailed.
