Chart notes
KOZY'S WILDCAT rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure toward the three eighths pole and contested the edge at the rail into the far turn, dueled clear of Downtownchalybrown approaching the eighth pole and was steadily handled through the lane. BAR FOURTEEN saved ground off the pace, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole and was eased outward approaching the top of the lane, came between horses mid-stretch and dug in to take second the final strides. JACKIE A rated close off the rail into the first turn, gave chase from the nine sixteenths pole and raced at the rail on the far turn, dug in leaving the turn but flattened stride nearing the wire. DOWNTOWNCHALYBROWN closed to contention while tapering in on the opening turn and raced with the early pace, gave chase from the three eighths pole and raced at a close disadvantage two deep on the far turn before weakening. FLATTER ME PLEASE rounded the first turn about the five path, left the turn outside and gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the five path of the far turn and showed little in the lane. PIONEER SPIRIT rounded the first turn about the four path and showed little response through the backstretch.
