Chart notes
NEVER EXPLAIN stumbled mildly leaving the gate, saved ground around the first turn, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far bend, launched a bid passing the quarter pole and kicked clear in the lane. DRAMA CHORUS saved ground a round the first turn, led the field on the inside up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the second turn, dug in in upper stretch and gave way late. PERFECT SPEIGHTY stalked the leader on the outside around the first turn and up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the second bend and improved position in the stretch. CANNON'S ROAR trailed the field while racing on the rail through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the far turn and gained ground mildly in the lane while never threatening. LIKE THE KING raced in the two path around the first turn, tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, dueled from the two path around the far bend and faded in the final furlong.
