Chart notes
CITY LEGEND lacked early foot off the inside, advanced three to four wide in the second turn, bid outside the leader with less than a furlong remaining, edged clear under continued firm handling. WHAT A COUNTRY last to leave, trailed early, began to move after a half, rallied three wide into the lane, up late for the place spot. TIZ OUR TURN broke on top, set the pace along the inside, continued to show the way into the lane, could not contain the top two. CELERITY void of speed while saving ground early, moved out and raced three wide into the lane, improved position with some belated interest. BIG COUNTRY prompted the pace in the two path, weakened in the drive. WARTIME HERO forwardly placed while racing three wide, also faltered when the real running began at the head of the lane. FORT PECK lacked speed while racing in the two path, lacked a rally. HOT PASTRAMI in the second flight while along the inside, stopped, finished well back. TAKE CHARGE GENT in mid pack just off the inside, stopped far turn, eased, walked in.
