KIERKEGAARD vied for the lead while two wide into the turn, dueled from the inside on the turn and into the stretch, drew off in mid stretch and dug in gamely to hold sway in deep stretch. SAMURAI CAUSE was unhurried early then rallied four wide on the turn, was gaining ground on the outside but came up short in the final strides. NEEDABETTERJOCK vied for the lead while three wide into the turn, dueled two wide on the turn then weakened in late stretch. WITT'S TAQUITO vied for the early lead while inside, was shuffled back on the turn then lacked a rally in the stretch. NAUTICAL MOON raced three wide on the turn making a bid but was no threat in the stretch drive. BLING'S BELLWETHER raced four wide on the turn then failed to menace. J B'S LEGACY was unhurried early inside then was no menace. A claim of foul was lodged by the rider of WITT'S TAQUITO against the rider of KIERKEGAARD for interference into the turn.
