Chart notes
DAT DARES GOLD settled in the three and four paths the first turn, started a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and raced close off the rail on the far turn, dug in leaving the eighth pole and got up in the final yards. SOME IS NINE raced with the early pace inside, drifted outward and made contact with Salty Saul at the nine sixteenths pole and showed the way from that point, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, contested the advantage at the rail on the far turn, was met mid-stretch and relented later yards. MARVELLA NASTY settled in the four path the first turn and gave chase into the backstretch, rounded the far turn about the four path and ran evenly in the lane. FLOATING BY saved early ground, started a bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the five path of the far turn and passed rivals outside. SHINY PENNY saved ground just off the early pace, gave chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail then flattened in the lane. DUSTWHIRL WONDER rounded the first turn about the five path, left the turn outside and showed little response through the backstretch. TORCH CARRIER raced well back off the rail on the first turn, left the turn in mid track and showed little response. SALTY SAUL raced with the early pace two deep, was bumped outward in the vicinity of the nine sixteenths pole, challenged toward the three eighths but faded readily on the far turn.
