Chart notes
DULCIMER DAME settled off the rail on the first turn, closed to a clear lead three wide midway on the far turn and was kept alert to widen. VOLNAY saved ground on the opening turn, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path of the far turn and cleared second mid-stretch. SHERIFF'S KID rounded the first turn about the four path, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and came along for third later yards. FLAT DISCOUNT rated close to the early pace, challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole and dueled to a slim brief lead toward the five sixteenths, was caught midway on the far turn and weakened into the lane. CHINA CAT raced off the rail on the opening turn and showed little response through the backstretch. TARGE moved to the inside and set the early pace, came under pressure nearing the seven sixteenths pole, was caught approaching the five sixteenths and weakened on the far turn. SAX and TEMPORARILY were not factors. MALIBU MARLEE was taken up early and only galloped around.
