Chart notes

EKATI'S VERVE settled well behind of a free running leader, commenced a run leaving the far turn, advanced three wide outside foes mid turn, took closer order into the lane, rolled up to take command past the three sixteenths then pulled away under a steady drive. CAMP PENDLETON saved ground and to the inside of a rival chasing the pace, eased out leaving the three sixteenths and churned on to earn the place. MIRACLE SILVER chased outside a rival, was briefly between foes mid turn, angled three wide for the drive and came up empty. BAPTIZE THE BOY broke a beat slow then was sent up to the inside of horses to take over leaving the chute, opened up after a quarter mile, remained well in front past the three eighths, cut the corner with a clear advantage, could not resist the winner with three sixteenths to go and weakened.
