AMUNDSON broke in and bumped with a foe, was taken up while in tight between foes early then moved out, chased the pace on the outside then in the three path around the turn, made a bid in the four path into upper stretch, held a short lead under a drive past the eighth-pole, dueled outside of the runner-up to the wire and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. HAPPY FARM broke very fast, came in some and put foes in tight early, contested the pace on the outside then in the two path around the turn, led into the stretch, lost the advantage to the winner inside the three-sixteenths, fought back gamely in the final furlong, dueled to the wire and just missed while clear for the place. SCILLY CAY was bumped at the start, jostled with a rival early then was taken up some while in tight, came under urging off the pace, went four wide around the turn, pursued the top two under a drive in the stretch and finished willingly for the show. CEES GET DEGREES jostled with a rival early, showed speed then disputed the pace on the inside of a foe, vied along the rail on the turn, fought under a drive in upper stretch and weakened. MONDAY MORNING QB brushed with a rival after the start, dropped well behind, climbed briefly into the kickback near the nine-sixteenths then drifted out, rounded the turn in the five path, came six wide into the stretch and was no factor.
