Chart notes
UNBROKEN STAR raced unhurried early, moved six-wide through the turn, responded to steady urging and was up in the closing yards. CANNONBALL COMIN showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the turn, angled out into the stretch, rallied late and just missed. SWING WEST pressed the pace while racing four-wide from between foes, moved up to offer a bid nearing the quarter, led and gave way grudgingly late. LINCHTOWN settled off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the turn, reached a striking position but failed to gain late. AWHITESPORTSCOAT pressed the pace while racing five-wide, moved up to offer a bid nearing the three-sixteenths marker, gained a brief lead and gave way. STAR ENTRY disputed the pace from between foes, moved three-wide through the turn and gave way. SPENDAHOLIC was away in good order to duel for the lead from the inside and weakened after going a half. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED. TIMES CHANGED UPON REVIEW.
