Chart notes
HE'S A BOMB vied for the early lead, followed the rail around the track, was caught by two to other rivals at the five sixteenth pole, matched strides and battled until the eighth pole where he was cued and responded gamely and drew away with a hand ride for the win. COURTHOUSE COVE vied, for the lead, settled into the second tier from the six path, matched strides with another rival to the inside of him, advanced in company and caught the early leader at the five sixteenth pole, where the three competitors battled for the win after the quarter pole, switched leads at the eighth pole and drew clear for second. INVISIBLE WAR was off a step slow, shifted out at the five eighths pole into the five path, raced from the outside where he consistently gained ground through out the turn, closed forcefully after the quarter mile but didn't have enough. MAGNOLIA MIDNIGHT raced along the inside in the second tier early, had company on his out side after the first furlong, advanced up in company and caught the early leader, was battling from in between after the quarter pole and hung late. NEW YEAR SURPRISE was slow out of the gates, stayed on the rail throug out and was never involved. HEZA WAY MAKER raced from the rail in the middle of the field, steadily moved up, was in contention after the quarter pole but faltered late.
