Chart notes
GRAND FIBER chased toward the inside, raced close at the rail on the turn, dug in for the lead in late stretch and dueled clear the final yards. BIG HAMBONE chased through the backstretch, raced close three and four wide on the turn and dug in through the lane to take second the final strides. MR TINGLES was hustled to the front inside nearing the seven sixteenths pole and set a pressured pace, contested the advantage at the rail on the turn, dug in under steady handling leaving the turn but was caught in late stretch then nipped from second under the wire. MOSS BOSS chased, rounded the turn in the four and five paths and finished evenly. GOT FLOFFY chased inside, raced near the rail on the turn then flattened later yards. IMPETUOUS pressured the pace most of the backstretch, rounded the turn in the two and three paths then weakened. ALWAYS DRINKING chased outside, rounded the turn in the six and seven paths and showed little in the lane. WIZARD OF ODDS and STAR LUCK were not factors.
