Chart notes
WILD BANKER dropped from the four path to the two path early on the first turn then moved to the three path, tracked outside on the backstretch, was roused near the half-mile pole, issued a challenge in the three path around the far turn, gained the lead near the quarter-pole, fought outside of two opponents into the final sixteenth and proved best under good handling. OPTIC WAY prompted the pace in the two path around the first turn, took the lead inside the three-quarter pole, lost the advantage while asked along the rail on the far turn, fought on well to near the sixteenth-pole but was outfinished while just able to get the place. PIT BOSS was restless in the gate, went three wide on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, was urged along in the two path while getting a slight advantage on the final turn, lost the lead between foes near the quarter-pole, kept on well to near the sixteenth-pole but was out-kicked then just missed the place but was clear for the show. CARIBBEAN (AUS) dropped back in the two path early on the first turn, moved to the three then four path later on that bend, settled outside down the backstretch, was ridden along while three then two wide on the far turn and failed to rally. CAERUS stumbled at the start and was off slow, saved ground on the first turn, was rated off the pace, dropped back under urging in the two then three path around the final turn and came up empty. THERISASTORMBREWIN went to the front, showed the way on the inside, lost the advantage inside the three-quarter pole, dropped back late on the backstretch and retreated.
