Chart notes
CROWNING GOLD bumped leaving the gate, dueled from the inside into the turn then grabbed advantage around the bend, brushed with outside rival in upper stretch, was headed at eighth marker but battled back under strong hand urging to prevail. CHICK'S DIG IT tracked leading duo down the backstretch, moved out bit and engaged rivals three deep and four wide into the lane, angled over in upper stretch, brushed with inside rival, poked his nose in front at eighth pole but was out gamed to the wire. GOLDENSPA bumped at the start, stalked from the inside, remained along the rail around the turn and through the stretch while going willingly to the wire. CRYPTO RIDE brushed with outside foe at the start, settled off the leaders and off the rail, raced three wide then shifted to rail on the turn, came back out in stretch and found his best stride late. MENDEZ MILE broke in bit and brushed foe, forced the early pace outside winner, continued two wide then between rivals on the turn, dropped back in upper stretch and weakened.
