Chart notes
TALK OF THE NATION raced in the four path around the first turn, stalked the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the second turn and kicked clear in the final furlong. MO STASH brushed with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, chased the leader on the outside around the first turn and up the backstretch, challenged from the three path headed into the far turn, took the lead in upper stretch, was caught and chased the winner home late. A WESTERN YARN led the way while saving ground through the opening half mile, dueled from the two path around the second bend, gave way in upper stretch and kept on to the finish. FREEDOM TRAIL raced in the three path early, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn still in the three path, launched a bid approaching the quarter pole and gained ground late. SUMMER BEE raced in the middle of the pack on the outside around the first bend and up the backstretch, continued around the second turn in the two path and finished evenly. SENDERO raced in the two path around the first turn, settled at the back of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, fanned out to the five path coming off the far turn and showed no kick. SMOKE LIGHTENING brushed with the horse to his outside at the break, saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and weakened in the stretch. LIGHTS OF BROADWAY raced in the five path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch at the back of the pack on the outside, raced in the four path around the second turn and made no bid. NAGA'S BOY raced in the four path around the first turn, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, dropped back to trail the field from the two path coming around the second bend and was empty in the lane.
