Chart notes
GRAND DESIGN stalked the pace along the inside, angled three to four wide into the upper stretch and finished well to get up under strong handling. CRIMSON ZIP was void of early speed, moved up five wide near the eighth pole and closed in belatedly. MY BOY GUS showed good early foot to set the early pace and weakened a bit the final eighth of a mile. LUCKY BREAK pressed the pace from the outside of foe and weakened. MURDO failed to respond. LOVER BOY was getting out near the nine sixteenths pole and faded.
