Chart notes
PAYNTER PARTY lead the way down the backstretch, was challenged for the lead by an outer rival on the turn, then shook clear in the early stretch and held on well to prevail. SATURDAY'S GOLD bumped rival at the start, then pressed the pace while two wide, was moving up on the turn to duel gamely for the lead entering the stretch, but gave way in the end and was second best. MORRICONE stalked the pace from the inside, was in a steady drive throughout the turn, to bid gamely in the stretch and was able to hold the show position in the end. PEPPER JACK was unhurried early, then raced along the inside into the turn to rally in the late stretch and was closing willingly in the end. SECRET BLARNEY was allowed to settle along the inside leaving the backstretch and into the turn, then made a mild bid in the stretch but came up evenly in the end. BELEWS GOLD settled early while two wide heading into the turn, then bid in the stretch and was closing well but it wasn't enough. GRAB THE MUNNY raced in the middle of the field from the three path, was in a hard drive to bid from the five path in the stretch but needed more in the end. SALADO stalked the leader from the three path, was in a hard drive on throughout the turn and into the stretch then stopped. DARE TO BE WILD was unhurried early and no menace.
