Chart notes
IRISH EXIT stalked the pace outside, edged to the front nearing midstretch and moved clear late following a long drive. RON DON SCORESE hustled to a pressured lead inside, was collared into the stretch and battled gamely to the finish. NAUTILUS lacked speed inside, angled out on the final turn and made a gradual late gain. VASARIANO saved ground within striking range then weakened in the stretch. SENIOR INVESTMENT chased off the leaders three wide and lacked a solid rally. MIDNIGHT ACT dropped back at the start and trailed throughout.
