Chart notes
MONET'S DEVIL moved four wide and outside rivals on the turn, took the lead at the three-sixteenths, edged clear and held sway under steady handling. GUNNER PAUL pursued from in behind the leaders on the turn, angled out a bit past the quarter pole, kept on in the stretch to secure the place. PUNCH EM moved forward inside up the backstretch, bid along the rail at the five-sixteenths taking a narrow lead, had no extra for the drive. RARE STRIPE settled off the pace, came out and improved. ACE GILFORD set the pace racing just off the rail in the two path, vied between runners on the turn, weakened. TRUE SAINT pursued the pace just off the leader and outside, contended three wide and between late on the turn, gave way.
