ABOUT THE MULTIPLE went after the pacesetter on the turn, bid to the front into the stretch and edged clear. CLASSY UNION lacked speed then saved ground advancing with late energy. FIELD OFFICER far behind early, chased wide and was up for the show late. WISPERING SPRINGS quickly sprinted clear for half a mile then stopped in the stretch. TWO COLOR MAP dropped back early, moved inside on the turn and was no threat. WEGOTTAGUY raced in closest pursuit of the pacesetter early then gave way in the stretch. PELLEGRINI lacked speed and was always outrun. VANCOUVER D'ORO chased four wide down the backstretch and gave way.
