Chart notes
OVER AND THUNDER set the early pace while clear and towards the inside, was well handled on the front end, came off the turn three wide and shook clear by the furlong marker, then maintained a safe margin to the wire to prove best, driving. ONCE A GIANT was reserved early, saved ground on the turn and then finished well on the inside. FACTOTUM stumbled slightly at the start, tracked the pace three wide, made a three wide bid off the turn but needed more in the lane. SAILOR SPEED was rated along early, then advanced four wide on the backstretch, made a three wide bid on the turn but weakened the final furlong. HOLD THE IRISH was settled early on the inside, shifted out and was four wide by the quarter pole and had no rally. LTL BEAR SALOON tracked the pace two wide and stopped on the turn.
