Chart notes
STORMIN ROCKET rated close inside on the first turn, eased out with a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, took over three wide midway on the far turn and was kept alert through the stretch. FEARNOUGHT rated close off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase into the backstretch and raced near the rail on the far turn, eased out leaving the turn and dug in to take second late. BUBBA G stalked the earlier pace from the three path, challenged toward the three eighths pole but dropped back at the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the turn and dueled for third. COUNTRY CHARLIE was bumped leaving the gate then saved ground, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and ran evenly in the lane. FULL AHEAD took over while tapering to the inside and rated the pace, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole, dueled clear of Bubba G but was met midway on the far turn and weakened in the lane. EISELE ducked in and made contact with Country Charlie leaving the gate then saved ground close to the early pace, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but flattened at the rail on the far turn. SIMILAR TASTE showed little response through the backstretch. LOOKA LOOKA bobbled at the break and dropped well back.
