LADY CINCO DE MAYO took over approaching the three quarter pole and moved to the inside to rate the pace, was met into the backstretch, picked up the chase to recover the advantage at the rail nearing the quarter, dueled clear mid turn, dug in under steady stretch encouragement but was nipped under the wire. MOHAYMEN DAY rated close on the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail, eased to the four path into the lane and raced evenly in the lane. TWIN CAUSE was bumped at the break, rounded the first turn in the five path and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced close off the rail on the far turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. IRISH SAMURAI became a little edgy in the gate and saved ground on the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path, angled to the outside leaving the turn and passed rivals. HOVEL saved ground racing well back on the opening turn, eased out into the backstretch and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and showed little in the lane. BESTLA ducked out and made contact with Twin Cause leaving the gate, rounded the first turn about the three path, left the turn outside, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole then flattened in the six path of the far turn. FORT ZANNA saved ground. MAP THE MOMENT raced in the six path on the first turn and took the lead into the backstretch, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, was caught nearing the quarter and faded through the far turn. LECTRIC ROD rounded the first turn in the three path then faded past the seven sixteenths pole.
