Chart notes
SIX THE HARD WAY , in hand waiting for room behind a wall of horses leaving the turn, split horses in mid stretch, closed outside HIDEWRIGHT AWAY, led late and drove clear. HIDEWRIGHT AWAY sprinted to a three deep lead entering the turn, was well clear to mid stretch and tired. LA GROTTE , sent down the backstretch, chased the pace while two wide around the turn and weakened. DIAMOND SUE , very wide entering the stretch, flattened out. STORMIN' AMANDA , fractious at the starting gate, raced forwardly three wide around the turn, weakened, steadied in traffic near the eighth pole then was eased. DEARLY , unhurried down the backstretch, was no factor. LIL SPINNER , outrun, raced along the inner rail on the turn then angled to the six path in upper stretch. RIVER CITY ROCKER chased the pace in the two path on the turn and gave way. SWEET SHUGS , sent early, was taken in hand leaving the backstretch, hugged the inner rail around the turn, drifted out in upper stretch and gave way.
