BEACHMONT CHARLIE brushed with an inner foe after the start, raced in midfield around the four path, floated out to the six path while losing ground around the far turn, and was no menace. CHEF MENTEUR bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced off the early pace outside, suffered a catastrophic injury nearing the far turn, pulled up shortly after and was euthanized.
