Chart notes
GRANNYS CONNECTION established the front and showed the way in hand just off the inside, shook away steadily through the turn and continued just off the inside into upper stretch, came under hand urging receiving three taps to the right shoulder and drew clear to the finish getting geared down through the final sixteenth. HAPPY SOPHIA leapt up at the start and got away last, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung five wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick to secure the place honors while never able to threaten the winner. THINKING IT OVER coaxed from the gate, chased three to four wide under a ride from the three-eighths, spun three wide for home and weakened in the late stages. STARSHIP LAOBAN coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside under coaxing from three furlongs out, took the inside route into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. DIVA BANKER coaxed from the start, chased inside briefly before tipping out to the three path, came under coaxing midway on the turn, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. AMITY ISLAND chased along at the inside under coaxing from the three-eighths, tipped out four wide at the head of the stretch, trailed.
