Chart notes
BOURBON CALLING coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide in aim of the front, advanced coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch taking over command, edged away under a drive kept to task. CURLIN'S WISDOM chased three to four wide until tucked inside into the turn, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and ran on to secure the place honors. MARKET ALERT vied inside a pair down the backstretch and into the turn, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch displaced from command and weakened in the late stages while clear for the show honors. KING KUMBALAY vied three then two wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, angled four wide into upper stretch, weakened. SOUTHERN DISTRICT chased five then four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, angled six wide into upper stretch and weakened. STEINBECK broke out at the start brushing UNTREATED, showed brief speed to vie from the five path before being steadily shaken off, continued five wide through the turn coaxed along from three furlongs out, and faltered in the stretch. UNTREATED brushed at the start by STEINBECK, who broke outwards, chased just off the inside under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, went two to three wide for home and trailed.
