Chart notes
LAKE ETHEL was allowed to settle early, angled out to the five path in early stretch, was closing, took control late and edged clear. PRETTY PEPPY set a pressured early pace, raced four wide, kept on and finished second best. REALLY A STORM was taken back early, raced seven wide through the turn, was gaining late and was along for third. VALLEY VERDE was reserved early, advanced eight wide and offered a mild late rally. RUN FOR RANDY tracked the early pace, raced six wide into the turn and was empty. LIL MISS CASSIE was void of speed, angled in three wide and flattened out. SWEET MESA ROSE raced in mid pack early, went nine wide into the turn, angled in and offered no late rally. BLAME THE TEQUILA was outrun early from the inside and was no factor. MS MERAZ pressed the early pace, went three wide and faded.
