VIOLENT PASS was allowed to settle early, made a inside move off the turn and inherited the lead after the leader ducked out and lost the rider, then remained clear to prove best, driving. SASSY LAD was reserved early, came three wide into the lane and rallied. MAHOMES MONEY chased the early pace, made a three wide bid on the turn and came four wide into the lane, then jumped tracked to avoid fallen rider at the three sixteenths marker, then flattened out. ACT OF VALOR dueled for the lead two wide and weakened. NAUTICAL NATURE stalked the pace four wide and stopped. SAPONARA dueled for the lead on the inside, made a bid to draw clear on the turn, then remained clear leaving the quarter pole, ducked out leaving the turn and lost the rider, walked off. The STEWARDS posted a INQUIRY concerning the run into the stretch but the race was left as is.
