Chart notes
ICY MINISTER stalked the duel to mid turn, swung to the five path turning for home, gained outside horses and was up near the finish. SUPERSTITIEUX showed speed along the inner rail, disputed the pace throughout, just missed and bumped BORN FOR VICTORY when drifting out approaching the finish. BORN FOR VICTORY disputed the pace in the two path between horses around the turn,, battled outside SUPERSTITIEUX through the lane, hung and was bumped in deep stretch. LOVE MACHINE bobbled slightly at the break, saved ground around the turn while chasing the pace, remained along the rail through the stretch and failed to rally. NO ME DIGAS , three deep disputing the pace to the stretch, gave way. THE THINKER trailed and swung to the six path turning for home. Following an objection by the rider of BORN FOR VICTORY, SUPERSTITIEUX was disqualified and placed third.
