Chart notes
NIFTY vied for the lead along the rail throughout the backstretch and into the turn, then dug in and kicked clear in the upper stretch and was able to last to the wire to prevail. IT MAKES SENSE vied for the lead from the four path, was in a steady drive to bid gamely entering the lane and was closing strongly in the end and was best for second. FIRST AVENUE was unhurried early, then was saving ground heading into the turn, rallied gamely along the rail to close well in the late stretch. PIKNITUPLAYNITDOWN vied for the lead from the two path into the turn, then continued to bid in down the lane then gave way in the end. IMPRESSED stalked the pace from the five path, then faded slightly throughout the turn, then re bid in late stretch but it was not enough. BAYRON vied for the lead while three wide, was in a hard drive throughout the turn, was used up and tired in late stretch.
