Chart notes
GOLD PRIZE lead the way from the gate into the first turn, was in a steady drive down the backstretch and throughout the far turn, then dug in gamely in the early stretch to shake clear from the oncoming rivals and held on driving to the wire to prevail. TOP COP tracked the pace from the inside down the backstretch and into the far turn, was in a hard drive to rally in the early stretch, lugged out and bumped and outer foe, then continued to bid gamely for the place prize in the end. WILD WING was forwardly place in the two path heading into the first turn, was in a long drive to stalk the pace down the backstretch into the second turn, rallied in the early stretch then was bumped by an inner rival and continued to bid well in the end. UPTOWN BIGBADJON steadied in the early backstretch, then settled back along the rail into the turn, menaced in the early stretch but came up evenly in the final furlong. FABLED RULER raced while two wide down the backstretch, then rallied from the three path throughout the far turn and into the stretch then flattened out in the end. CLASSIC RUNNER raced while five wide on the backstretch then made a mild bid from the two path throughout the far turn, angled out three wide in the stretch while losing speed in the end. RAIL TOWN steadied twice heading into the first turn, then rushed down the backstretch while three wide, was used up on the turn and stopped in the stretch.
