TRIPULANTE pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, dueled from the three path around the turn and kicked clear in the lane. NEWYEARSBLOCKPARTY raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the three path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and improved position in the stretch. EXPENSIVE STYLE raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and chased the top two home in the lane. KING OF HOLLYWOOD trailed the leaders through the opening stages, came around the turn in the three path and showed no kick. INTER MIAMI led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled while saving ground around the bend and tired in the stretch. HIDE THE DEMON raced off the pace through the opening quarter of a mile, saved ground around the turn and was empty in the lane.
