Chart notes
I'LL FIGURE IT OUT dueled two wide between foes, kicked clear in upper stretch and widened under a drive. PRIDE AND PASSION raced off the pace outside, advanced four wide around the turn and ran on to gain the place. LITTLE JUANITO pressed the pace three wide, turned for home on near even terms and was outfinished. JOE DI BAGGIO chased the pace two and three wide and lacked the needed rally. FROLIC MAN failed to menace while racing two wide. COMMANDING GENERAL set a pressured pace along the rail and faltered in the lane. CACTUS JACK was outrun inside.
