Chart notes
INDY'S STAR was away in good order to duel for the lead with WAIT A SEC, disposed of that rival after going a half, opened a clear lead soon after and held sway to the wire. LOOKIN SO LUCKY settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn, could not reach the winner in the drive but finished with a steady gain. IN THE RED lacked early speed, saved ground through the turn, reached a striking position but failed to gain late. IF YOU WANT IT lagged early, raced three-wide through the turn, angled out into the stretch and finished evenly. DIRT FLIRT raced off the pacesetters early, saved ground through the turn and lacked the needed rally. WAIT A SEC disputed the pace while racing three-wide and weakened after going a half. APART OF MY CHARM showed brief speed and weakened. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
