Chart notes
BROAD IMAGINATION moved to the inside and was firmly rated to set the pace, came under pressure leaving the quarter pole and dug in under steady encouragement to keep the nod through later strides. CURB THAT TIGER raced well off the early pace about the three path, eased out leaving the first turn and bid toward the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the four path, was carried out leaving the turn then lugged in past the sixteenth pole and missed the nod in the final strides. JUBAY rated close in the two and three paths, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path, drifted into the lane and dueled close from that point, but checked off the inside flank of Curb That Tiger in late yards. FRANK THE BULL saved ground into the first turn and settled off the pace, gave chase from the half mile pole, rounded the far turn off the rail then flattened the final sixteenth. CHARTERED COURSE settled in the two and three paths on the first turn, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the four and five paths, left the turn outside and showed little further. SHADE TREE CORNER saved ground on the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and weakened in the lane. COOL DUDE saved ground on the first turn and showed little response through the backstretch. HARDIN dropped well back early on and saved ground. IRISH FIRE entered the first turn in the five path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but faded through the backstretch. The Stewards reviewed and dismissed a claim of foul against the rider of Broad Imagination for alleged interference in late stretch, lodged by the rider of Jubay.
