Chart notes
ELEGANT TASTE stalked the early pace and made a two wide bid on the turn, took over leaving the turn and was clear by the furlong marker, then remained clear to the wire to prove best, driving. WILL TAKE ROSES set the pace on the inside, was headed nearing the quarter pole, then angled out leaving the turn and ran on to the wire, second best. FAVORITE DOLL was allowed to settle along the inside, made a mild bid on the inside leaving the turn but had no late kick. SIMPLE SOUVENIR tracked the pace three wide and came four wide into the lane and weakened. DANCE A LITTLE JIG was void of early speed, saved ground and had a belated rally. MELODIA was settled back early and lacked a serious rally. AMI'S LINK chased the pace four wide and weakened.
