Chart notes
MEANT FOR ME chased the pace while two wide, was gaining ground on the turn to vie for the lead from the three path in the early stretch, then edged clear in the final furlong to succeed in the end. PUTMAN was moving up to press the pace from the two path into the turn, then rallied gamely to vie for the lead between rivals in the upper stretch and was second best in the end. BRAHMS BOY lead the way from the start, was in a hard drive throughout the turn, then vied to keep the lead in the stretch but was used up and gave way in the end. WILTON was unhurried early, then was moving up from the inside on the turn, came out three wide to rally in the stretch and was closing well but it was too little too late. CHIEF BRADY raced while two wide behind rivals, was in tight around the three eighths marker, re bid on the turn to rally in the stretch then flattened out in the end. WIN WON DOBBS raced while three wide at an even pace throughout the course and needed more. CHARLIE'S TOWN chased the pace from the inside into the turn and needed more in the end.
