Chart notes
WRECKING BALL saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far bend, gained ground and kicked clear while drifting mildly late. WHISKEYMAC raced in the two path early, chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, took over the lead while saving ground around the second turn and was caught in late stretch. BALLINDINE raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn from the three path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late. EVEN THE WIND raced in the two path around the first turn, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the three path and improved position in the lane. STREET COP OFFICER raced in the three path early, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack, came around the second turn in the four path and made no bid. JETER AND JUDGE was away from the gate slowly, trailed well behind the field around the first turn and up the backstretch, came around the second bend in the two path and was not a factor. HELLO SUCKER led the field while saving ground around the first turn and up the backstretch, dropped back from the rail coming around the second turn and continued to tire in the stretch.
