Chart notes
AFILADA moved up to race just off the pace, made a bid between foes at the nine-sixteenths, advanced to the front with a half-mile to run, vied near the rail early on the turn, shook clear inside the three-eighths, extended the advantage while cruising away late on that bend, was given one pop of a right-handed crop in upper stretch and proved much the best under a solid hand-ride to the wire. WELCOMETOMYWORLD settled just off the pace on the outside, chased in the four path around the turn, pursued the winner in the stretch and was clearly second best. GERMANY JAYVO stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the three path near the three-eighths, dropped back outside the five-sixteenths and tired while well clear for third. SHAYMYNAME went to the front then showed the way, relinquished the lead easily at the half-mile pole, saved ground on the turn and stopped. EXTESSA stood in the gate at the break and dwelt, spotted the field about fifteen lengths, went two to three wide around the turn, came out some into the stretch and trailed.
