Chart notes
KEARNEY contested the pace outside DOUBLETROUBLE BEAR throughout, dug in through the lane and gamely gained the edge at the wire. DOUBLETROUBLE BEAR was on the pace inside the winner, got narrowly clear into the lane, dug in but could not hold that safe at the end. CORRENTE DE OURO settled in reach of the leaders three wide but could not produce the needed stretch rally. ASHWINS ORB saved ground and lacked a final closing run. BULL RING was not a threat. R DEJA VOO chased the leaders four wide and gave way through the far turn.
