Chart notes
GOLDEN ANGEL sped to the early lead, set the pace along the inner rail, drew off through the stretch under steady handling. THUNDER BOSS , two wide around the turn, chased the winner and held the place. I HAVE COURAGE hugged the inner rail throughout and rallied mildly. TIPSY TOURIST bumped with HELLO JAMROCK leaving the starting gate, raced in three path between horses on the turn, angled to the six path for racng room near the sixteenth pole and had a mild, late rally. DESPITE THE GIN bumped COFFEE BEAN when bearing out at the break, chased the pace three deep around the turn and weakened. GOOD STORY saved ground on the turn, swung to the four path in upper stretch and failed to rally. COFFEE BEAN , bumped leaving the starting gate, was four deep on the turn while outrun. HELLO JAMROCK , fractious in the starting gate, bumped with TIPSY TOURIST after hopping at the break, had mild advance in the two path on the turn then gave way.
