Chart notes
PIYPA DE LYNDA raced in the two path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and kicked clear in the final furlong. POSEIDON'S SON raced in the three path early, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the four path coming around the far bend and chased the winner home in the stretch. REINER raced in the two path around the first turn, led the way between horses up the backstretch, dueled from the three path around the far bend and weakened in the final furlong. ROWDY JESS saved ground around the first turn, raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second turn and made no bid. SWIFT KID raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, swung out to the five path for the run around the far bend and mad no bid. THORN saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, began to drop back while racing in the two path around the far turn and continued to tire in the lane.
