Chart notes
NICE ICE pressed the pace from the inside, moved up to offer a bid nearing the half, opened a clear margin into the land and held off ROLLINGA by a diminishing margin. ROLINGA was reserved just off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn, angled out further into the stretch and was gaining on the winner late. STRADARI disputed the pace with the winner, stayed on well in the drive and finished willingly. CANTERBURY GOLD was away alertly to vie for the lead from between foes and gave way through the final furlong. CHICKS DIG MUNNY lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the turn, rider lost whip in mid-stretch and did not offer a bid. EARLYNTHEMORN showed no early speed, raced six-wide through the turn and was not a factor. MY EXPRESSION settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn and weakened in the drive. LE TUB was void of early foot, raced three-wide through the turn and did not menace. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
