Chart notes
AMERICAN BLAZE was off slow, rushed to contend, stalked the leaders while racing three-wide, moved up to take command nearing the five-sixteenths pole, opened a clear margin with a furlong to run and held off the closing SPECIAL MOMENT to prevail. SPECIAL MOMENT raced unhurried early, moved four-wide through the first turn, moved five-wide through the second turn and finished with a steady bid. ANOTHERFORBROOKS sprinted clear soon after the start, responded when challenged nearing the five-sixteenths pole, vied and gave way through the final furlong. KATAR chased the leaders from the inside, angled out nearing the quarter and gave way in the drive. I AM FREAKY FAST was forwardly placed early, moved five-wide through the second turn and weakened. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
