Chart notes
SHWEET PERSUASION stalked the leaders three wide to challenge going to the far turn, was joined by DALLAS GOLD through that bend then dug in and kept safe through the lane. DALLAS GOLD settled inside off the early pace, moved three wide through the far turn to bid outside the winner but could not get by. STAGE DOOR settled off the pace four wide, moved up five wide into the lane but could not threaten while holding the show. GOOSE DRANK WINE was on the pace inside a rival while about the two or three path and weakened into the lane. TOP OF THE GAME stalked the pace three to four wide and weakened. BARSTOW prompted the early pace outside GOOSE DRANK WINE and had nothing left in the lane. OPTIMISTIC VALOR was three to four wide and tired.
