Chart notes
SOUPER ROYAL MOON broke outwardly and bumped DANGER RANGER at the start, stalked the pace three wide, took the lead near the sixteenth pole and edged ahead under a drive. LIGHTNING TONES bumped with SMOKIN CLOUD soon after the start, chased the pace two wide, split rivals in upper stretch and ran on inside of the winner to be clearly second best. DANGER RANGER was bumped at the start, trailed outside, advanced four and five wide around the turn and flattened out in the lane. SMOKIN CLOUD was bumped soon after the start, pressed the pace two wide, led midway around the turn, drifted out turning for home, vied between foes to midstretch then weakened. JRUE BREEZE set the pace along the rail and tired in the final furlong. MATEO had only brief speed four wide.
