Chart notes
RUN WITT RUN dueled from the two path into the first turn, then set the pace down the early backstretch, was challenged for the lead by inner rival heading into the far turn, gained command again entering the homestretch, then dueled again with another rival in the late stretch, bore out and bumped that rival then kicked clear and was up in the final strides. GOVERNOR ANN was unhurried early heading into the first turn, then saved ground on the backstretch, was urging steadily throughout the far turn to duel gamely in the stretch with an inner rival, was bumped then forced out in the late stretch and came up empty in the end. MADAME RUE chased the pace from the three path down the backstretch, then faded on the far turn, made a mild bid in the stretch but came up empty in the end. MORO NALA dueled from the inside into the first turn, then pressed the pace setter down the early backstretch, was moving up to duel again heading into the far turn, was used up and tired in the home stretch. DOC'S RUNNER was unhurried early then trailed behind the field down the backstretch and into the home stretch and was no factor. There was a STEWARD'S INQUIRY and JOCKEY'S OBJECTION in regards to interference in the stretch drive. After reviewing the replay, there was no change made to the order of finish.
