Chart notes
GIACOMETTI matched strides for the lead four then two wide into the stretch then drew off at will under a strong hand ride to win as much the best. OUTSLEWTHEM battled for the early lead two wide, bumped with a rival to his inside entering the turn, dropped back a bit then came on again two wide through the stretch to finish clear for second. WARHORSE WEST contested the lead three wide then along the inside into the stretch and was outfinished. TWELVE MINUS ONE unhurried early, swung wide and had a mild late rally in the middle of the racetrack. LITTLE VAQUERO broke awkwardly and was no threat. ATILANO vied for the early lead along the rail, was bumped entering the turn causing his rider to steady then dropped out of it. ELUSIVE QUESTION close up five wide from the start, improved position on the turn then faltered.
