Chart notes
COASTAL FOG pressed the pace while racing four-wide, moved up to offer a bid nearing the five-sixteenths pole, vied with SCOPELLO into mid-stretch and drew clear. JOHN'S KID was reserved just off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the turn, angled out further into the lane and finished with good late energy. SCOPELLO was away in good order to set a pressured pace while racing three-wide, responded when challenged by the winner nearing the five-sixteenths marker, vied and gave way through the final furlong. DIXON TUFF was forwardly placed early, moved five-wide through the turn and finished evenly. HE'S INIT TO WINIT lacked early foot, raced five-wide through the turn and was not a factor. CAPACITY was void of early speed, raced three-wide through the turn and did not menace. SPLASH OF LOVE chased the leaders from the inside for three furlongs and weakened. DISRUPTOR MAN was off slow and lagged far back throughout. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
